Emily wanted a few photos at the end of her pregnancy to remember the special time of expectation and wonder, as she waits for her baby boy's birth.
We met in a park in Balhannah and took 20 minutes, just catching the light and that lovely bump. Emily came feeling camera shy, but she didn't need to worry. We chatted and walked along, and I captured a few moments as we went. I like to keep maternity sessions relaxed and peaceful, cherishing the experience and capturing the radiance.
I took this photo from ground level, which helped frame the image with the glowing grass in the foreground, the golden light surrounding Em, and the dark bushland behind.
