Taking timeless family portraits during the golden hour in a country setting in the Adelaide Hills in pretty much an ideal world for Verity Edgecombe Photography!
We were fortunate to be able to get permission to photograph this family on a farm in the Adelaide Hills. It overlooked dams and rolling hills and the setting sun! There were large gums on the property and we used these to frame this photo. This photo will look fabulous on a large canvas or framed print to remind the family of the good times they had 'when we were young'.
Having never had family photos before they were nervous about what to expect. They didn't need to be. They were lots of fun and the children are full of life and spark - they may have got it from their Mum! Some typical pulling funny faces pics were taken because...well...that's just what kids do don't they?!
There was a nice farm gate we were able to use as a feature in some of the photos and grazing cattle in the valley added a great element.
The family chose soft blue and neutral based tones for their family photos.
We laughed a lot at this family photo session. It may have been their first family photo shoot but they have had two more with me since then...and I trust there will be many more to come!
