Engagement photos at Noarlunga Beach, with a wedding at Kingsbrook Estate, Currency Creek was a perfect scenario!
As we arrived for the engagement shoot, a rainbow appeared over the cliffs. What a great start! We had photos on the jetty and the beach. It was great, as a photographer, to go up on the sidewalk and photograph Jemima and Sam enjoying each other from a distance. Just as the sunset, Jem and Sam climbed the rocks and had some beautiful moments overlooking the water. With seagulls flying overhead and the fresh sea breeze washing over them, it was tranquil!
Compare that to their beautiful wedding day at Kingsbrook Estate with stately French Houses, rolling lawns and rows of vineyards! A fabulous contrast!
On a side note, Jemima went to the hairdresser just before the engagement shoot to do a trial run of her wedding hairstyle. Having a trial run meant that she could make sure it was what she wanted as a bride. She was a hairdresser by trade before she worked at the Adelaide Uni as a PA and then did a nursing degree! (yep - lots of diversity!). She took photos to the hairdresser of the kind of thing she wanted, and what she didn't want too, so they were on the same page. As you can see, Jemima didn't have the same hairstyle for her wedding day as she had for her engagement shoot! It was worth getting that all sorted before the big day!
