Adelaide Hills Convention Centre

Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills is 20 minutes from the Adelaide CBD with some top weddings for that elegant country, boho, relaxed vibe.

Hahndorf Wedding Venues

In the Adelaide Hills, Hahndorf was founded in 1839 by migrants and has all the excellent country feel about it for an organic, country wedding. The Main Road has many authentic shops, and tourists love to spend the day browsing and enjoying the beautiful ambience.

Adelaide Hills Convention Centre Wedding

The Hahndorf Resort includes the award-winning Adelaide Hills Convention Centre, which can cater for an extensive guest list - up to 600 people! There are photo opportunities in the field, by the lake and lovely trees, and along the main road.

Natalie and Jakob (pictured) had their wedding ceremony on the lawns outside.

A field at the side of Hahndorf Resort has tall grass so that we can pick up the sun's glow in the grass as the golden glow streams through the gum trees. We took 10 minutes from the wedding reception to capture some photos and give Natalie and Jakob time together. The images we created here are some of my favourites from this wedding day, not just for the pictures themselves but for the memories of such beautiful moments that the photos evoke. Natalie wore a beautiful lace, off-the-shoulder bridal gown and styled her hair with soft curls on the sides. Her makeup was subtle and allowed the bride's eyes to sparkle - though the groom did an admirable job of that too! Coming from interstate, this couple and their families stayed at the resort for the three-day small, intimate wedding celebration.
